Pet Care Services Offered for Posh Pets

Below is a short description of the variety of pet services provided.

For all new clients after speaking on the phone, we will set up a consultation regardless of the service you wish to have. I can't wait to meet your furry or feathered family members!

Initial Consultation - Free!!
During this time I will be meeting your family and all your four-legged babies. I want to listen to how I can take care of your prince or princess and your home while you are away. We will go through necessary paperwork, discuss your preferences for the home visits, veterinary information, and I will be also be collecting a key to your home for all future visits. This visit helps your pets get to know me, so they are comfortable when I come in without you. I will gladly answer any questions or concerns you may have, as the goal is, by the time I leave you will be content and worry-free about your home and pets. This visit only needs to be done once, and then only when new pets are added to your family for a quick "hello." The initial visit typically lasts 30-40 minutes.

Vacation Pet Sitting

Vacation Home Visit -$18 per visit
During this love-filled visit, I will do everything that you would do for your prince or princess!! Most importantly, they will receive lots of love and attention! Of course I will feed, water, let them go potty, scoop litter box, clean cage, administer medicine, give hugs, and exercise your furry babies, but anything else you do just let me know, and I will gladly do too. I will gladly do other household items such as taking the trash out, watering plants, and getting the mail and paper(if household duties need more time than the visit allows, that's okay too, for an additional fee).

Dog Walking

Mid-day Visit -$18 per visit
This is a great treat for your furry babies; they get to have some fun and exercise, as well as relieve themselves. This is very useful for puppies or older pets who need that potty break. This visit is done while the pet parents are away at work and want Sissy or Fido to have some special attention. This will diminish the feeling guiltiness if they need to work late or go out for dinner. Walks are great and playing at a local park will be thoroughly enjoyed by your prince or princess!! A little extra love can make the difference between a happy pet, which equals a happy family!!

During the Holidays

Holiday time is vacation and family time!! I love taking care of your pets when you are away, and that is why I offer my services during the holiday times as well. Yet, that means time away from my family, so I ask for an additional fee of $5 per visit. Holiday visits include all State Holidays: New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve.

Specialty Add-ons to a Home Visit, for that Posh Care

Medicine Administration - free
During a home visit I will gladly administer any medicine including shots

Bath - $15 for 30 minutes
Do you want to have a squeaky clean Fido when you get home? I would love to lather up and rinse your short-haired pets in your tub or sink, most pups also love my massages to help them relax. I bring my happytails products, or I can use yours. Some long-haired breeds need monthly grooming and for that I will gladly set them up an appointment with the groomer of your choice.

Nail Trimming - $5 if less than 10 minutes
Do you wish that you didn't have to take Sissy to a groomer just to get her nails clipped? Or you just don't want to be the "bad guy" to Fluffy. I take my time and give them lots of cuddles and maybe a treat. I go at the pace the pet needs, and it is done in their environment, so there is much less stress.

Poop Scoop Yard - free or $10 for 15 minutes
While at your home caring for your pup, I will gladly pick up those landmines that he leaves behind. It is complimentary as long as it is kept up with prior to my care, otherwise I ask for a fee if it takes longer than 10 minutes to pick up on the first day of care. It is just a one time fee for the duration of Vacation Pet Sitting, then you will come home to nice green yard.

Additional Services

Home Sitting - $15
A number of services can be performed within a home visit. Home sitting is perfect for those people who go on extended vacations and need a trusting person to take care of their home. Some examples of service include but are not limited to: watering plants indoor/outdoor, picking up the mail and newspaper, altering window treatments and lighting when away, taking out the trash on pickup days, sweeping/vacuuming main areas, and any other normal house hold duties.

Poop Scoop Service - $10 for 15 minutes
Some how the land mines just keep taking over the yard!?!? If you don't have time to pick it up, I sure can! It can be done routinely or as needed for parties and such. Coming to your backyard when it it convenient for you; Posh Pet Services can be in and out in around 15 minutes usually. The amount of time varies dramatically based on the number of dogs, amount of times they go potty, and how long it has been since the last clean up.

Pet taxi and Errand Service - $20 for every 30 minutes (mileage included)
I can drop-off/pickup your pet at the groomer or veterinarian or I can pickup pet food and medicine, if you just can't make it to the store before you get home. If you don't have the time before you leave town for a vacation, I do, and am just a phone call away!!

Other Information Regarding Service

Appointment Hours
Pet Sitting at Posh Pet Services is generally by appointment. Hours of visits are: Mornings: 7:00am - 10:00am, Mid-days: 10:30am - 2:00pm, Afternoons: 2:00pm - 4:00pm, Evenings: 4:00pm - 6:00pm, and Nights: 8:30pm - 11:00pm.
Number of Visits Needed for your Pet

Dogs that are strictly outside or inside/outside ~ minimum of twice a day
Dogs that are strictly inside ~ minimum of three times a day
Cats ~ once or twice a day
Small Animals, Birds, Fish ~ once or twice a day

Cancellation
Prior knowledge is always helpful, but sometimes is simply not possible. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, you will be requested to pay one full days service. Extenuating circumstances of course will be understood and I realize that it is going to happen, just let me know as soon as you know.

Payment
I prefer if payments are made at the time of service, before you leave for vacation(on the counter is fine!), or the beginning of the week on regular mid-day visits. I send out invoices of expected service about a week in advance through email, so you are aware of the amount due. A late fee will be assessed unfortunately if I have not received payment within five days of completion of service.
